The sequel of Gautham Karthik and Yashika Anand starrer Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu, the adult comedy released in 2018, will be releasing soon. The film has been titled as Irandam Kuthu.
The teaser of the film has come out recently. But it has raised controversy as Bharathiraja, the veteran director, spoke against the film after watching the teaser.
He condemned the film’s content mentioning it as explicit. Now, Alisha Abdullah, the racing driver from Chennai, has opened up on the film revealing her own opinion.
The first female champion of India in national racing has tweeted after watching the teaser of Irandam Kuththu. Alisha who has appeared in a cameo role in Atharavaa starrer Irumbu Kuthirai has called the movie “sick.”
She has written on her Twitter account that “this is just sick to see such movies made,” and also questioned the thinking behind making and releasing such a film. Moreover, she has urged the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister to ban the movie and dropped an emoticon of folded hands in her tweet.
The movie Irandam Kuththu is a horror comedy by writer-director Santosh P Jayakumar with the director himself along with Karishma Kaul, Akriti Singh, Daniel Annie and Akriti Singh in the lead roles.
It is Jayakumar’s acting debut. Rajendiran and Chaams will also be seen playing key roles in this movie. The music director of the film is Dharan Kumar.
Bharathiraja criticized the film in an open letter after seeing the teaser. Jayakumar, in return, shared a picture of a film directed by Bharathiraja. The picture shows actor Kamal Haasan to pose with three women wearing a swimsuit.
