Actress Deepika Padukone will soon return to Goa to restart filming for her upcoming project. She is currently in the midst of filming for Shakun Batra’s next movie. The filming was going on and Deepika was in Goa with the other team members when she was summoned by NCB in drug case.
So the actress had to come back to Mumbai to attend the NCB. After she has been interrogated, Deepika is all set to fly off to Goa again. The film stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday too.
Not only Deepika Padukone, other actresses like Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor were also questioned by NCB in drug connection to the Sushant Singh Rajput case. After Deepika’s chat with her manager Karishma Prakash regarding drugs came into the hands of NCB officials, she was called for questioning.
The NCB officials had arrested a few people including Rhea Chakraborty, Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend in the drug angle related to the late actor’s case. Sushant passed away in Bandra on 14th June.
Talking about Deepika Padukone’s professional life, the actress was last seen in Chhapaak and played the character of Malti, who was an acid attack survivor. The movie had a great message for the society.
Besides, she is awaiting the release of ’83, the sports drama on the Indian cricket team’s first world cup win where her husband Ranveer Singh plays the character of Kapil Dev. Apart from Ranveer, Ammy Virk and Tahir Raj Bhasin are also cast in the film. Amid the pandemic, Ranveer and Deepika were in Bengaluru in Deepika’s maternal house.
