Release Date Of Denis Villeneuve’s ‘Dune’ Delayed Till December 2021

Viewers have to wait more to watch the sci-fi epic “Dune“. The Denis Villeneuve directed movie was all set to release on 1st October, 2021. But the release date is delayed till 18th December, 2021 by Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures.

No comments came yet from Warner Bros. But it is not the fact that only “Dune” has to face the reschedule. There is a list of shuffles and all credit goes to the pandemic. “Wonder Woman 1984” will be released on Christmas Day this year instead of early October.

The Wander Bros. distributed movie is based on DC Comics. As the theaters are on a closure since March, the release dates have been reshuffled for many big budget and small budget films.

Robert Pattinson starrer “The Batman” has been announced to be released on 1st October, 2021. As Matt Reeves directed big budget project is delaying, Caped Crusader’s next project will be again pushed back.

“No Time to Die”, the James Bond sequel was previously set to release in November this year. But now as per the rescheduled list, next project of James Bond will hit the screens in 2021. The shuffled release date of “Dune” has come out just after “No Time to Die”s announcement.

As big-budget movies are shuffling their release dates one by one, the theaters are facing problems. After a long time closure, theaters in the U.S. are being tried to be normalized.

But these announcements are creating headaches for the owners. Regal, the biggest theater chain in the U.S. has decided to close down its venues again. But another chain Cinemark will not follow it’s footsteps but will reduce the operating times.
