Films Like Atrangi Re, Second Innings and; Others Soon To Get Started With Extra Costs For Safety

After a gap of almost six months, Bollywood is returning to normalcy gradually. The shooting of some of the movies has already been started while some others will hit the floors next month. Bit due to safety measures to be taken fully, the financer will have to spend extra money for the filming to go on.

Akshay Kumar starrer Atrangi Re by Anand L Rai will hit the floors in November. The film will also star Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan.

Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon will be working on the film, Second Innings. The sequel of Satyameva Jayate will be filmed from 20 October with John Abraham in the lead role again. Filming for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with Kartik Aryan as the male lead is going resume soon.

November may see the next project of Luv Ranjan to hit the floors in which Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will act. Filming of some other movies may also start in the last three months of 2020.

As the guidelines related to pandemic has to be maintained, the expenditure based on the days of work and size of the cast and crew may increase by 2-5 crore, as it is being estimated. For that reason, the producers of the next film of Shakun Batra have already added two crore to their budget.

The costing will increase as there will be arrangements like masks, gloves, PPE kits, tests, facilities of doctor and ambulance, special arrangements for using filming locations, and special travel arrangements. The filmmakers are thinking that the days of filming will also have to be extended. The pace of work cannot be the same as normal time.
