Don’t Look Up is the new big project in which Jennifer Lawrence, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Meryl Streep will be seen together. All the A-list talent in the movie will be a treat to watch after such a so long time. McKay will be writing, directing, and co-producing along with Kevin Messick with the brand name of McKay’s Hyperobject Industries Banner.
The movie revolves around two low-level scientists who start on a media trip to warn humanity of an oncoming asteroid that will finish Earth.
While most of the stars had been loosely connected since the beginning, it was DiCaprio who had stood strong for the decision for some time, thinking out if he could do some magic in the movie.
DiCaprio had played with a few of the projects of Netflix but never fully engaged and continued one of the few movie stars in the industry who hadn’t starred in the project produced by an OTT platform.
The movie is beginning work on November 19 in Boston. McKay is also wearing the cap of the producer in this movie and he will be producing this film under his brand called Hyperobject, along with partner Kevin Messick.
Talented Streep, who performed in Little Women which was the last year’s Oscar-winning, alongside stars in Ryan Murphy’s musical comedy called The Prom, which also stars talented personalities like Keegan Michael-Key and Nicole Kidman and in the cast.
