Prathi Poovankozhi, the Malayalam film of recent time with Manju Warrier in the lead role will have its remake in four languages now. Rights of the movie have been reportedly sold to remake the film Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada language.
The film was directed by Rosshan Andrrews. It released last year. Unni R had written the script for the film. The film was also the debut flick of Rosshan as an actor whereas Manju was projected as an employee of a textile shop.
The filmmaker has essayed the role of a villain in his very first movie as an actor. The name of the character played by Manju is Madhuri. The story mainly revolves around her. She is groped in a bus by a goon and afterward, she tries to take revenge.
As per reports, producer Boney Kapoor has bought the rights of the film to be remade in Bollywood. Earlier, the producer also bought the rights of the film Helen to remake it.

Anna Ben’s Helen will have a remake in hindi next year. Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s elder daughter Janhvi will be seen as the female lead in the movie.
In the recent past, a number of Mollywood flicks have seen a high demand for buying remake rights for other languages. Among them, some movies like Ayyappanum Koshiyum, Lucifer, Ishq, Kappela, Driving Licence and Thaneer Mathan Dinangal have received record prices for selling the rights.
On the other hand, the next film by Rosshan Andrrews casts Dulquer Salmaan as the lead character. The actor will be playing a cop there. Bobby and Sanjay, the award-winning duo, have written the script for the film.
Manju is presently busy with the project titled The Priest and a number of her other ventures are lined-up for release.
