Malayalam blockbuster Maarconi Mathaai is now coming out in Telugu. The Malayalam family entertainer featured Jayaram, the versatile actor and Vijay Sethupathi who debuted in the Malayalam film industry with this film. It was directed by Sanil Kalathil.
The movie, which is now being dubbed in Telugu is titled Radio Madhav. On Thursday, Telugu actor Sree Vishnu announced that Radio Madhav is coming out in the Telugu language. He expressed his happiness on this and wished the team all the success.
Sethupathi will play the same role in Radio Madhav that he played in the Malayalam movie, said DV Krishna Swamy. Jayaram has played the character of a retired army man who now works as a bank security guard. The actor has already proved himself in Bhaagamathie as a villain and then in Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
The story of Radio Madhav revolves around an FM radio station. The plot is set in a lush green town of Kerala named Chaganassery. DV Chailam, co-producer of the film has shared that music will be the film’s USP.
The executive producer N Srinivasa Moorthy stated that it will be an overall “feel-good film” with an interesting climax scene that is enough to give the audience an edge-of-the-seat experience.
Bhasya Sri, the writer, also opened up on enjoying the work and expected that the Telugu audience will like the musical family entertainer. Bhasya Sri has written the lyrics and the dialogue of Radio Madhav.
Poorna, Aju Verghese, Athmiya Rajan, and Naren are also featured in the film. The movie is presented by Gundepudi Seenu and edited by Shameer Mohammad. Sajan Kalathil has done the cinematography. M Jayachandran has composed the music.
