Senna Hegde Directs His Second Malayalam Film, Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam

The first poster of the new Malayalam flick Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam by filmmaker Senna Hegde has been released. It is the second Malayalam movie of the Kanhagad-based director.

Senna Hegde has written the script as well along with Sreeraj Raveendran who has also filmed the movie. Hegde’s first Malayalam project is a docu-fiction drama that has not released yet. But the movie has received attention from Anurag Kashyap recently.

The film is being known to be a dysfunctional family drama. The key roles will be played by Manoj Kumar K U and Renji Kankol, the Android Kunjappan stars. Some new faces will also be introduced in the movie. The casting will be unconventional casting. Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam’s filming has been done in Kanhagad.

Sreeraj shared that they wanted Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam to be quite similar like 0-41* but they thought of making it more commercial. Use of Kanhagad slang was important for them, added Sreeraj.

The subject of the film is very much region-based and that’s why using the language properly was important. They were very particular about the screen appearance and the language to be authentic. That’s why they cast local people in their film, Sreeraj further stated.

The whole story is cooked in two days in a single house over an engagement ceremony. It took only one outdoor scene and the rest of the filming was done inside a house, as informed by the makers. But the house itself has been presented as a character here with the efficiency of camera so that the viewers don’t get bored.
