Director K Vijaya Bhaskar’s ‘Nuvve Kavali’ marked the debut of Tarun Kumar as a protagonist when he was just 17 years old. The movie produced by Usha Kiran Movies was a romantic comedy. Being released in 2000, the film created a sensation at the box-office.

This year’s 13 October was the date of completion of 20 years of the film. It was naturally a very special occasion for Tarun. The actor celebrated it with his family.

Sharing a number of pictures of celebration on Instagram, he showed his gratitude to everyone as the film is and will always be a memorable one for him. The pictures show the actor and his family members celebrate with all the decorations, cakes and all.

The National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu was given to ‘Nuvve Kavali’. It also bagged four South Filmfare Awards and it goes without saying that the movie had a terrific theatrical run.

It was an official remake of Niram, the Malayalam film, which casts Kunchacko Boban and Shalini and was released in 1999. Peppy songs by Koti, Trivikram Srinivas’s witty dialogues, and engaging narration by Vijaya Bhaskar entertained the viewers a lot.

To add to all these factors, there was a lovely chemistry between Tarun and Richa Pallod which the audience liked the most. Tarun hasn’t signed any Telugu movie after ‘Idi Naa Love Story’ in the year 2018.
