Varthamanam is an upcoming malayalam movie directed by Sidhartha Siva and produced by Benzy Nazar , Aryadan Shoukath. Starring Parvathy Thiruvothu and Roshan Mathew in the lead role along with other artists. Music of Varthamanam composed by Pandit Ramesh Narayanan , Hesham Abdul Wahab and editing of the movie done by Shameer Muhammed. The movie is scheduled to release on 12 March 2021. The movie will be released in 300 theatres nationwide.
The story is based on the challenges and hardships faced by a girl hailing from Malabar, who is on a journey to Delhi University as part of a research on freedom fighter Muhammed Abdu Rahiman. The film discuss about the political and social issues now faced by the Indian society.

Vathamanam seeks to raise questions and wake those sleeping from their political ignorance. The cinema even cites history to explain the centuries of tug of war for power.
However, the cherry on the icing is definitely the climax of the cinema that is piercing, shrill and loud enough to make you stand in ovation.
Faiza asks the audience a closing question and the screen goes dark. +1 for the punchy ending alone that makes this movie one to watch!
